Alejandro D. Orengo Colón is an independent bilingual filmmaker and film critic from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico with an MFA on Film & Television from Savannah College of Arts & Design.
Alejandro currently hosts Cine Más Podcast, a Puerto Rican podcast dedicated to movie reviews and deep film analysis. In addition, he’s also a frequent independent movie critic collaborator for The Nerdy Basement, Reel In Films, Banana Meter and others.
Additionally, he’s the founder of the Puerto Rico Critics Association, a professional association for Puerto Rican film journalists, critics, and broadcasters.
He’s also part of the Puerto Rican film collective Producciones Tabaquero. His short films have been selected in various international film festivals and has also been the editor of multiple films in short & long format, fictional and documentary alike.
